A Sunday Letter from Ysabel

There’s a specific kind of person I’m writing to today.

The one who has been pushing all year.
Building. Executing. Carrying the vision.
Doing what it takes.

You’re ambitious. You’re disciplined. You’re creating something of your own.

And yet—when was the last time you stopped to ask yourself:

What do I actually need right now?
Not as a founder. Not as a creator. Not as a high performer.
But as a human.

You may have noticed I went quiet here.

I didn’t plan to take such a long break. I’d been consistent since July. But I let the pause continue until it felt honest to write again.

This year asked a lot of me.
I’m deeply driven—I can push harder than I sometimes should. And for a season, that was required. Focus. Discipline. Commitment. Sacrifice.

It wasn’t the most “fun” year.
But it was a strengthening one.

Still, there’s a cost to constant pressure.

If you press on your finger long enough, it turns red. The blood rushes. It can’t breathe.
We’re not so different.

No wonder we say, “It feels like I can’t breathe.”

We need space. Air. Room to be ourselves.

Over the past few weeks, I finally gave myself that.

I went to San Francisco for a gala—and stayed for ten days.
I worked only on what felt aligned.
I said yes to spontaneity, new people, and being fully myself again.

And in that space, I remembered why I build at all.

Freedom.
Authenticity.
And creating rooms where others get to live this way too.

I also had another realization.

I realized I’ve been spending time in rooms that feel comfortable. There’s value in that—but comfort, if you’re not careful, becomes a ceiling. So I’m intentionally seeking spaces that stretch me again.

Growth requires environments that won’t let you stay the same.

Because when the level you’re playing at starts to feel “big,” it may be time for it to become your baseline.

I’m stepping into a new era—one where I no longer accept excuses from myself or from the spaces I choose to be in.
And if you're reading this and feeling the same pull, I want to ask you something:

  • What do you need right now—as a human, not just a high achiever?

  • Where might you be playing small, disguised as success?

  • Where can you set your ego aside to enter rooms that truly stretch you?

Sometimes the very mindset that once got you here is what keeps you here.

I’ve personally invested in new rooms and communities to support my next level going into 2026.

And I'm opening a new cohort in January—limited to 35 people—an intentional room for A-players who are ready to rise. People with depth, integrity, and big vision who are no longer interested in staying comfortable.

Those who join will gain an invitation into the collective—with access to curated retreats, immersive travel experiences, and transformative moments in 2026.

Applications are now open, and I’ll be starting interviews over the next few weeks.

With intention,

Ysabel
