I wanted to share something a little more personal today.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know this journey hasn’t been easy. This past year has challenged me in many ways—it’s pushed me, stretched me, and at times taken a toll on my mental health.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting a lot on when I was just a traveler, YouTuber, and storyteller—moving through the world, meeting people, experiencing new places, and creating freely. Things felt lighter then.

Recently, things have started to feel heavier. More responsibility. More decisions. Higher stakes. Less space to just be.

And I think it’s important to pause sometimes and ask ourselves whether what we’re building still feels aligned.

As we move into Q2, I’ve realized that building Global Dream Team in its current form no longer feels aligned for me.

For the first time in over 5 years of running my own businesses, I’ve been asking myself if I’m truly happy with the direction I’m going in.

The vision I once had for GDT feels like it’s being tested by reality.

And instead of dragging that out, I think it’s important to listen to those signals.

So I’ve made the decision to shut down Global Dream Team.

I want to go back to being just Ysabel.

Before the added layers of responsibility.

The version of me that was already living her dream.

I hope to continue inspiring you through my journey.

But for now…what I’m building is coming to an end.

Okay pause 😄 April Fools.

On a real note though—parts of what I shared above are true reflections. This past year has been challenging in a lot of ways, and entrepreneurship definitely isn’t always easy.

If you’re currently part of GDT, nothing changes for you right now—I’ll share a separate update with more details.

fr though—it’s Q2. A good check-in for today: reflect on what felt misaligned in Q1, what you want to release, and what you want to move toward that actually feels aligned with your heart in Q2.

This is just as much your moment as it is mine.

And with that, here’s a real update:

I’m planning some upcoming travels and would love for you to be part of them.

Right now I’m exploring:

Peru — a group travel experience centered around adventure, connection, and shared exploration in a meaningful environment.

Switzerland — a reflective retreat experience in nature, focused on slowing down, gaining clarity, and reconnecting inward.

Cape Town, South Africa — a focused, creator-led accelerator where builders and founders can work on ideas, get feedback, and make real progress alongside others.

Plus a few other experiences still taking shape.

Before I finalize locations, I want to hear from you so I can choose places that resonate most with the community.
