Hey y'all!
Happy Sunday! Apologies for the late send—I might need to scale back a bit on these newsletters since the cohort is taking more of my energy (but in a good way!).
What a week! First off—thank you to everyone who reached out about my move. I honestly didn't expect so many messages, but I felt seen and so appreciated all the kind words. I'm feeling much better now, just tackling the logistics one step at a time.
I've been doing a bit of visioning and planning for 2026. I started with bigger travel blocks, then toyed with ideas like 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off. Lately, I've been diving into lifestyle design and energy principles because I'm realizing how important it is to build something sustainable, aligned with my values, and that actually works with my natural rhythms. Basically—living in flow rather than full-speed burnout mode.
I've also started sketching a "Lifestyle-Aligned Travel Strategy" for 2026—anchoring in LA and NYC while clustering global travel around a few key hub countries. The idea is to recharge, make travel meaningful, and hit 25 countries by the end of the year while staying grounded in LA and NYC at key points.
As I reflect on what I want to build, I keep circling back to the values that matter most to me: freedom, meaningful work, ambition and achievement, growth and expansion, creativity, connection and community, authenticity, health, wellness and balance, friendship, spirituality, joy and fun, and adventure—exploring, stepping out of my comfort zone, and experiencing new perspectives (among others).
LA definitely needs to be part of the picture—the relationships, community, and lifestyle I’m building here feel too important to leave behind—the question is how much—but I want 2026 to feel intentional, sustainable, and aligned with my energy and values.
🌱 Reflection for you: What anchors in your life give you energy, grounding, and meaning? How could you design your routines, work, or travel so they support your flow instead of draining it? Even small shifts—time to recharge, space for reflection, or aligning with your values—can make a big difference.
Excited to keep exploring what that actually looks like in practice and create a year that feels fully aligned with the life I want to live.
And lmk if this sparked any ideas for your own lifestyle design! 💕
xx,
Ysabel
